The Company was established in 2010 in Indonesia as a limited liability (perseroan terbatas) holding company that focuses on commercial properties, particularly retail malls, offices and hotels through its own operations and operating subsidiaries and associates. The Company and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) is a fast growing investment property and management business in Indonesia. The Group is known for its high quality and reputable retail malls, office buildings, hotels and other retail properties, which are strategically located in townships across several cities in Indonesia. These townships are established by its parent company, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk. The Group's commercial properties, including malls, offices and hotels, are strategically located within the respective townships in Jakarta, Bekasi, South Tangerang, Karawang, Bandung and Bali.

Shopping Malls and Other Retail Properties

Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading is located in Kelapa Gading, a district in North Jakarta. It is an upper-middle-class shopping centre with a fashion, food and entertainment concept that complements the demographics of its township. The mall was built and expanded in several phases from 25,000 sqm in 1990 to 150,000 sqm in 2006, which resulted in the mall having 4 different wings by 2006. Further extensions, namely La Piazza and Gading Food City (Gafoy) were built in 2004 and 2007 respectively.

Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading attracted more than 28 million visitors in the year ended 31 December 2023. Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading houses La Piazza and Gafoy, which are concepts located in the mall that provide visitors with experiences beyond shopping. La Piazza and Gafoy are open-air shopping galleries that offers experiential activities like live performances, lifestyle and well-being events, and festive celebrations. With more than 20 cafes and restaurants, the place offers a vast array of cuisine from the trending local coffee culture to casual dining.

Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading is easily accessed via the toll road and public transport (being the Light Rapid Transit). In August 2021, another major toll road connecting Jakarta with Bekasi was completed, providing another convenient access to visitors from Jakarta. The mall also has adequate parking facilities of more than 4,000 parking lots.

Summarecon Mall Serpong is located in South Tangerang City. It adopts a “family mall” concept, and houses more middle-class tenants to cater to the demographics of its township and other housing developments in the Serpong municipality. Established in 2007, it has now expanded into a shopping centre of 115,000 sqm, spanning across two wings.

The mall offers regular experiential activities and events. In FY2023, it attracted more than 25 million visitors. The mall offers a loyalty program to its patrons via a mobile application specific to Summarecon Mall Serpong and runs regular mall-wide events and promotions. Through the same mobile application, it allows customers of a certain loyalty tier to reserve parking spaces prior to their visit.

Summarecon Mall Serpong is easily accessed via toll roads and public transport, including by the Transjakarta bus services. The mall also has adequate parking facilities of more than 3,000 parking lots.

Located near Summarecon Mall Serpong is Scientia Square, which serves as a hub for educational activities. It is an education-focused concept mall offering various educational programs with subjects including engineering, math, coding and sports. The mall also provides recreational facilities, such as a safari with petting animals, adventure zones for children and the first outdoor roll glider in Serpong.



Scientia Square consists of the following complexes:


  • Scientia Square Park Building, which houses extracurricular education institutions, including Kipina Kids pre-school; and
  • Scientia Square Park, which is next to the Scientia Square Park Building, houses a thematic park for outdoor activities.

Scientia Square is located in close proximity to two private universities as well as the residential properties in the Serpong township managed by the Parent Company. The strategic location enables Scientia Square to attract consistent customer traffic. The key tenants of Scientia Square are Kipina Kids Indonesia, Al Azhar Islamic Elementary School, Playfield Kid’s Academy, which contributes to stable revenue in respect of this property.

Summarecon Mall Bekasi is located in Bekasi, a municipality east of Jakarta. It also adopts the “Family Mall” concept and serves as a mid-range shopping centre catering to the demographics of the city and other residential developments in Bekasi. The mall was first opened in 2013 and spans an area of 77,000 sqm. With regular promotional activities and entertainment attractions in the mall’s Downtown Walk area, the mall attracted more 21 million visitors in the year ended 31 December 2023. The mall offers a loyalty program to its patrons via a mobile application specific to Summarecon Mall Bekasi, and runs regular events and promotions mall-wide. Through the same mobile application, customers of a certain loyalty tier are allowed to reserve parking spaces prior to their visit.

The mall is undergoing an expansion and will increase by a further 87,000 sqm to cater to the increasing needs of Bekasi residents and as the occupancy rate of the mall as at 30 June 2024 is close to 100%. The Group expects the expansion to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Summarecon Mall Bekasi is easily accessed via toll roads and public transport, including the Transjakarta bus service, the Light Rapid Transit from Jakarta to Bekasi, and the commuter train from Jakarta to Bekasi. The Group also provides shuttle service from the Bekasi Light Rapid Transit station to the mall. The mall also has adequate parking facilities of more than 3,000 parking lots.

CSummarecon Mall Bandung is located in Bandung city. The mall opened in January 2024 and adopts the same “Family Mall” concept. It is a mid-range shopping centre primarily targeted at catering to the needs of the city and other residential developments in Bandung municipality. The mall spans an area of 75,000 sqm, with a Downtown Walk alfresco dining concept and a live entertainment centre in the courtyard.

Summarecon Mall Bandung is easily accessed via toll roads and public transport. The mall is also located near the Tegalluar Summarecon Station, which is the station for the high-speed rail between Jakarta and Bandung. The Group also provides shuttle service from the Tegalluar Summarecon Station to the mall. Accessibility to Summarecon Mall Bandung will be further enhanced when key infrastructure projects like the entry-exit point from the Padaleunyi Toll Road and Bandung Intra-Urban Toll Road (City Ring Road) are completed. The mall also has adequate parking facilities of more than 1,500 parking lots.

Samasta Lifestyle Village is located in Jimbaran, Bali. It has a variety of selected retail tenants, including fashion stores, spa and nail salon, and dining options, which encapsulates the latest lifestyle trends amidst a traditional Balinese environment. It spans an area of 5,000 sqm and is situated within the village is the 5-star hotel, Movenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali. It is marketed as the retail hub of Jimbaran, Bali. A daily public shuttle bus connects popular tourist spots in Bali, such as Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, South Nusa Dua, Ubud, to the mall.

Summarecon Villaggio Outlets is located in Karawang, Indonesia and is the newest mall in the Group's retail mall portfolio, and has commenced operations in October 2023. It is an outlet shopping mall in an European-style village setting and is the first outlet mall in Indonesia that offers international branded products at discounted prices. The village spans 20,000 sqm of retail space and offers more than 90 shops in a single-level and open-air space

Summarecon Villaggio Outlets is easily accessible by car from the Jabodetabek area via Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Elevated Road and the Cipularang toll road from Bandung. The mall also has adequate parking facilities of more than 1,000 parking lots.

    Harris Hotel Kelapa Gading is a city business hotel located in the vicinity of Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading. The hotel has 307 rooms, including 295 Harris rooms and 12 Harris suites. The hotel provides quality hospitality service graded as 4-star under the Harris brand and offers complete facilities for hosting conventions and corporate events in its spacious 1,440 sqm function rooms that can hold up to approximately 1,300 guests in total for a standing event. The hotel has a restaurant, with a private dining space, and a bar. Other amenities of the hotel include a pool, gym, spa and co-working space for hotel guests.     POP! Hotel Kelapa Gading has is a budget comfort hotel, serving the demand for lower-priced accommodation within the vicinity of the Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading. The hotel has 266 rooms of the same type. Its houses 4 meeting rooms, that can hold approximately 130 guests in total for a roundtable event. The hotel has a grab-and-go food stall. The hotel arranges a shuttle service from the airport for guests upon request.
  • Harris Hotel Bekasi
    Harris Hotel Bekasi is a 4-star city business hotel located in Summarecon Mall Bekasi. The hotel has 332 rooms, including 284 Harris rooms, 42 Harris Unique rooms and 6 Harris suites. The hotel also offers complete facilities for hosting conventions and corporate events in its meeting rooms, which can host up to 1630 guests in total, and a standalone convention hall, which can host up to 2,000 guests in total. The hotel has one restaurant that can fit up to 300 guests. Other amenities include a restaurant, juice bar, a pool, gym, spa and an indoor kids' playroom.
